Recently had Cartridge Emulators installed on my '93 RT. Rode the bike some and the front end seemed better, but the rear shock was trashed. Kind of hard to gauge things with the rear end pogoing around. Had an Ohlins BM 053 installed yesterday (both upgrades done by a pro). Took the bike for about a 100 mile loop and it is very nice. As they say suspension is compliant, but not mushy, controlled, but not harsh. No more pogo action in the rear. Of course any decent shock would have cured that. Greatly improved ride and suspension control over (admittedly worn out) factory set up. Handles rough pavement much better, particularly in corners. I'm not "Ricky Racer" but I do occasionally ride at a "Gentleman's" pace. Not exactly cheap, but seems worth it at this point. We went with factory recommended base settings - seems good so far. Could have installed the rear shock myself I suppose, but hey, I was feeling lazy. Emulators were beyond my comfort zone.
