Re: Timing cannot be set accuratly.
I’ve owned an r65, r100r, and a r100 mystic over the last 35 years, and had the same bean can advance issues with all of them. The mechanical advance is subject to sticking and causing run away at idle(usually when engine is very hot) I decided to replace the bean can with the Alpha electric advance...

Fuel petcock should be checked. Take fuel lines off at carbs and make sure it flows freely with into a glass jar…not just a trickle…

Check the Rectifier board also, grounds etc. That was the problem on my bike.

Progressive rear shock
Progressive rear shock for K75 is good option. Nicely made, reasonable price, and great for two up riding.

Re: hi I’m new here
Welcome Russ!! Nice bike, love my Mystic. Its among the last of the airheads. I have had mine for about 7 years. The R100R is also a great bike with the same suspension and brakes. I had one of those for 10 years, regretted selling it and found the Mystic.

Re: Dragging front brake
The kits for the r1100rs are the same. Euromoto kit doesn’t list the mystic or r100r for some reason. The pistons were stuck on both sides! Kit came with new pistons, seals and silicone lube to assemble. Problem solved.

Re: Fuel flange recall 8/2020.
I had that flange leak on my 1994 k75. There is a large o-ring there that should be replaced on these bikes, I think even if not leaking now.
Also the fuel lines on these older bikes were not made for modern fuel with ethanol. Not a bad idea to have a look at them too....

Re: Dragging front brake
Hey Guys, after a thorough clean , flush, master rebuild and line replacement, the right side caliper is still dragging. I am going to need to rebuild at least the right side caliper. Euromotoelectric has the kit for the R1100RS for 89.99. Includes seals and new pistons. I think what happens for wha...
