Re: Clip on mounted master cylinder
......and if you want bigger brakes, I sell the adapters to put Ducati discs and Japanese 108mm bolt pattern radial calipers on an airhead. Imagine 2 finger stopping. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah68/mattcshark/6.23.16%20013_zpspgoywhn9.jpg Nice! Someone replied lol. How much for those adap...

Clip on mounted master cylinder
Has anyone used an aftermarket master cylinder like a Brembo RCS or such? Idk how to make it work but it'd be cool and I'd expect it to have much better brake feel. Any help or info is appreciated thanks!

Post 1984 Nikasil cylinders will need some machining of the base in order to fit the pre 1981 engines back to 1976. The '81-84 should bolt up, though. Kurt in S.A. As much as I want to drop the money on NEW cylinder and Pistons I've decided to just go with you guys said and buy newer nikasil cylind...

Re: New to airheads. Just a few questions
Thank you all for the replies. I think the plan is to just make it rideable and see how I like it. If for any reason I don't like it once it's operational, I'll try to flip it for 3k with new cylinders. For now though I'm enjoying the process. Hopefully it will be a such a labor of love that I can't...

Re: New to airheads. Just a few questions
Depending on your skill level, you could have bought a bargain, or a cash suck. Really nice, completely working '77 R100Ses can be had for $5-6K. If you'll need professional help putting yours back together, plus a bunch of new parts, you could burn that much up pretty quickly producing a well-work...

Re: New to airheads. Just a few questions
Thanks for the reply! Didn't think I'd get one so quick. Are there any other go to airhead websites to buy parts? So far bmw2valve.com is the only one I can find that has almost everything I need.

New to airheads. Just a few questions
Hello everyone! I'm new to these airheads. I bought mine for $100 as a project that I really want to complete. The previous owner started but ran out of time and energy to complete. So as of right now I have a 1977 R100s that is in pieces and I have to put it all together like a puzzle. I've been tr...
