Clip on mounted master cylinder

Post by 675carlos »

Has anyone used an aftermarket master cylinder like a Brembo RCS or such? Idk how to make it work but it'd be cool and I'd expect it to have much better brake feel. Any help or info is appreciated thanks!

I did this trick with a late model GSXR Nissin Radial Master Cylinder.
Cut the lever mount section off the stock perch. Roll the whole unit forward so the throttle cables don't interfere with the new Master cylinder.
I'll add pictures soon.

With my 1975 switch gear I had to re-learn how to use the turn signal in it's new location. You can solve that problem by getting the later left hand switch gear that has the turn signal on the left.
This MC is an amazing improvement over stock and can be had at a fraction of the price slightly used. Very easy to rebuild as well.

......and if you want bigger brakes, I sell the adapters to put Ducati discs and Japanese 108mm bolt pattern radial calipers on an airhead. Imagine 2 finger stopping.

Nice! Someone replied lol. How much for those adapters? I'd love to upgrade the brakes.
