Thank you for the responses. I put them back when I changed out the seals.

After removing the dust covers on my 86 R65 fork sliders, I found what appear to be washers that went between the seals and the dust covers. None of the manuals reference these washers. Does anyone know if they are necessary, or something that was added?

Hello. New to the forum...Does anyone have any experience with gaiters on a mono R65? I am assuming it's the same size as an R80, but wanted to check here before I ordered. Thanks.
