tank gauze filter
I got a new karcoma petrol tap and a " fit over both tubes strainer gauze " ( in the tank )
what do I do about the fibre washer ??? to seal tank to the karcoma tap.

bottom of the choke carb bowls was blocked …….right and left !
I have got the engine running on choke . It was not happy with tick over when warmed up.
No hole in the little jets in the carb......I have ordered new ones.

no choke
hi....is there a hole at bottom of carb bowl where the choke gets fuel from ? The plugs are dry when I try starting the engine in choke in 9 degrees in Manchester England. I have filled up the carb bowl with petrol ,nothing gets through to the space where the choke little copper pipe sits in carb bo...

Hi Wobbly,
the bike is not a kick start machine only a starter motor type.
Ive used a AGM battery for 2 years ...it died suddenly!.
Did not know it needed a higher voltage charge ,im 72 years old ..still learning!!!

Hi,
my r65 needs a new battery .
I have seen batteries for invalid carriages ,mopeds,and lawn mowers at half of
the price of motorcycles batteries .The same amper hour ,size and connections as well.
has anybody used them successfully ?

what an IDIOT I did mean the gearbox oil in my reply .You would notice it was more gooey than sump oil.

I have a 1979 r65 .If the pressure switch you changed was under the oil sump then it was the neutral switch
and you have drained the oil from the sump.
