hi....is there a hole at bottom of carb bowl where the choke gets fuel from ?
The plugs are dry when I try starting the engine in choke in 9 degrees in Manchester England.
I have filled up the carb bowl with petrol ,nothing gets through to the space where the choke
little copper pipe sits in carb bowl.
Both sides of the carbs are the same.
It is sitting in the garage for 5 years under blanket .new petrol ! ( you said its goes" off " in the tank when it is stored )
Cheers Jim
no choke
Re: no choke
There is a jet at the bottom of the enricher well. Try poking it through with a fine wire.
You just put new petrol in it now and the carbs were stored dry ?

Re: no choke
Hi ...thanks for the replies...
bottom of the choke carb bowls was blocked …….right and left !
I have got the engine running on choke . It was not happy with tick over when warmed up.
No hole in the little jets in the carb......I have ordered new ones.
