Plenty of space between the spokes. Guess I'll just chalk it up to poor quality control.

Good afternoon. I recently purchased a brand new from rim from BMW (not cheap!). This was a Behr rim 1,85BX19 (p/n 36311233323). I received the rim back after being laced up and discovered that the arrow was in the wrong direction. I called the place that laced it up (may I add they are a reputable ...

actually there are more differences than that. The original rim has 4 ribs as opposed to 3 on the new one.

I just ordered a new set of rims from BMW and they are now made by Behr. Beautiful looking rim fwiw.

No they are totally different. My hub is chamfered and is inset for the hubcap.

Rear hub part number

I ordered a new rear hub for my 1972 R75/5 (Mfg Part# 36311232811) and this is what I received. Did BMW supersede this part from the hubcap style hub?
