Gidday,
Just out of curiosity as I would love to paint one up in Gold, but what is the correct name or terminology for the longer curved front fender for our r100's, the European Police bike look I think they were on from memory??
Are they rare?? are they expensive?? are they non existent nowadays?? just always loved the quirky look of them..
Oh and btw, anyone got one you want to sell
Cheers, Grant

According to MAXBMW fiche, they are NLA. I put one on my RS years ago and must admit it looks quite fetching. Good luck in your quest.

Remember seeing reproduction of the longer front fenders on either of 2 websites:
flatracer.com
or
airtechfairings.com (google may find this one not sure of name)
Hope my memory is correct...

Just found it on airtech website. Don't know how to send the link to it...sorry...iPad new to me.
Its under "vintage fenders" and is called BMW big front fender ....part # BMWBF
Just google "airtech vintage fenders" and then drill down to BMWBF -- not too far down page.
Think they are based out of US. Cost was listed @ $82.99 USD
PS: they have lots of nice stuff in vintage fairings section

Grant, is that the one you are looking for, or are you looking for a valenced fender, which is essentially deeper and long?
Valenced fender:

If quirky is your goal, you want an elephant ear:
