Bruno's Machine & Repair

Post by Bamboo812 »

Anyone heard from Bruno lately? I sent him a rear drive for spline repair last December, but when I called about the job last February for an update he said he was buried in work and it would take about two months to get to it. I'm a patient guy, but it's going on six months and now he doesn't answer his phone or emails. Anyone know what's going on?

Too long. His work is top quality. That's why he is busy but six months is wrong. Unless you were informed at the outset.

I personally known Bruno over the past 20 years and he has done lots of work for myself and friends...always top notch quality. He lived in Kitchener/Waterloo area here in Ontario and his machine shop was in the garage behind the house.

Then he decided about 10 years ago he wanted to farm, own some land etc so he bought a farm in the middle of nowhere (Iron Bridge) and set about farming....it really is his first love....come spring and summer he does not do too much in the machine shop so you best bet is send repair parts to him late fall/early winter when he focuses on this repair work.

Bruno is a "different" kind of guy. Very humble and personable about his machine repair work but since he moved farming became his passion. Besides cattle he raises the big draft horses...Pergerons being his favourite....and keeping the Bears from going after his castle or horses.

He gets behind no doubt but I've never experienced lack of communication back from him...wonder if all is well in his life? He's been a bachelor for years but when I went for a visit a few years ago he had a lovely lady sharing the farm house for him. :o

Perhaps I could give him a call and see what's happening....just to check things out...I'll let you know if I can find where thugs are at. So stay tuned and hopefully I can find out. Haven't talk to him in past year so curious as to what's up.

Thanks for the reply Moosehead. I have learned that other people are waiting on parts that were shipped the same time as mine. I just have to be patient, apparently...
