Could it be good?

Re: Could it be good?
Might be a bit heavy for a real scrambler?
POWERTRAIN
Engine Configuration: Air cooled parallel V twin ???
Engine capacity: 997 cc (98 x 66 mm)
Power & Torque: 97 bhp @ 8,000rpm & 70 Ib/ft @ 7,000rpm
Transmission: 5 speed Metisse
Ignition: MBE ECU
Fuel system: Twin 42mm throttle bodies & injectors with high pressure fuel pump
Exhaust system: Twin stainless steel back-swept pipes
How'd they do a parallel V twin?
With those power specs, I'm guessing it'd leave most of us lot behind!

Engine looks pretty bloated and you say Steve, looks heavy. They still make them with Unit and pre Unit power plants. I wonder where they get them.

Re: Could it be good?
I'm a bit confused about the whole street scrambler genre, a scrambler should mean light and nibble, something like a stripped down British AJS or a Honda XL 350? There are lots out there but the good ones are light and have some off road potential if not real scramblers or trail bikes.
The current Ducati Scrambler kind of qualifies, by weight anyway.... but it all seems to be about style.
That Metisse is cool but it would be better in road or sport clothing.
