OZ get together this Spring?

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Jane and I had a great weekend at the Geehi Resort, riding up on Friday arvo.

The weather was perfect, the bikes went well and all the recreational chemicals worked as expected. We went over the top to Jindabyne on Saturday (Jane's first visit there). There is still a fair bit of snow around Thredbo.

And Jane rode Brunhilde for the first time, initially around the dirt roads at the campsite, then from Corryong down to Bullioh (65kms) on the way home on Sunday with the bike fully loaded. Somewhat alarmingly, she really liked the experience and I quite enjoyed the little Suzuki.

The old hut 'eh. What a fine place it is. Great to hear you and Jane had a lovely time, Charlie.
Jim and mesself rode past there before you got there, and rode past there again after you'd left.
What a small world our massive mountain road network is.

Struth Charlie! Lucky you and Jane didn't go to Geehi next weekend, there's a bloody BMW rally there.

That's the one, Rob. There were a few other people, but well away from our suite. A nod and a wave occasionally was all that was required.

Yikes, BMWs? Damn things are like arseholes - every bastard's got one.
There is now a steel grille over the fireplace in the stone hut, btw.
