OZ get together this Spring?

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Tintaldra is an easy option for me. New owners there since then so it'll be less "organic" shall we say!

Are we still not allowed to camp where we camped last time, gentlemen on BMW's excepted and accepted?

Yeah Rob, but they can be handy to hang a tarp from.

Tintaldra is a great spot - the only problem being the lack of a public dunny. The previous publicans were happy to let us use theirs as long as we used the bar sufficiently, and I think we did pretty well on that count. The risk is that we could be moved on by somebody given to taking their official capacity seriously. Anyway, I'm prepared to give it a shot. Just mumbling really.

Mal of Dubbo, great idea to grab some extra days to get some wear out of the edges of your tyres. And since Tintaldra is too bloody close to Borderburg I imagine I'll be looking for a bit more of a ride too. Perhaps a leisurely run to the coast or something?

So, Tintaldra on the weekend of 28 November then? It might be a bit deja vu if we get the numbers ...

If someone moves us on, we could move to behind the Jingellic pub I suppose. Is there anywhere else as plan b? Tooma?

Depends how reliant we are on pubs and shops.
Plenty of options if we take it all with us?

Is a river mandatory?

At the end of November the important thing will be shade. It already feels like summer here.
Tintaldra is good for the shade factor. The Wallnuts is a good'un for shade, too. Only 15kms south of the Mitta Pub and it's a very nice road from both directions. Just tossing ideas around.

I think they'd look down their noses at us at Tintaldra nowadays. You know, appearances to uphold etc.

Walnuts good, Blue Duck good, somewhere around Whitfield, Island bend, Yarringobilly........

If the Gippsland gents have only one night, and Mal is the only far northerner, Blue Duck or vicinity is prolly easiest?

Gday Jeff

as I now plan to take make it more leisurely-ly, the Blue Duck or thereabouts would be great. Maybe this time I can even get a beer at that pub?

cheers

 That's right, you forgot your tie last time.

There are lots of spots along the Mitta river, but Blue Duck is the most funnest to get to by far!

All loaded up heading to the Blue Duck. Charlie, Jane and Bob are at the end of the vid.
