OZ get together this Spring?

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

 That's right, you forgot your tie last time.

There are lots of spots along the Mitta river, but Blue Duck is the most funnest to get to by far!

All loaded up heading to the Blue Duck. Charlie, Jane and Bob are at the end of the vid.

Yep, great road. Pity about the traffic - there was a damn car using our personal test track.
I'm happy with the Duck, and it should suit the southerners well.

Geehi to the Blue Duck or anywhere in between is fine by me. They're all one nighters from here.

Some more pics from our Geehi Resort weekend.
Jane and I stopped for a breather (ahem) at the Granya Gap and a bloke pulled up on a Triumph.

Image

He had a north american accent and such a wide grin. He was new to the area, had just had his bike tuned locally and was on a first exploratory ride. Nice bloke. I think he said the Triumph was a 2003. It was well set up as a fun bike for our roads. He was blown away by the lack of traffic and the quality of the roads.

The kitchen/dining area of our suite at the resort. We found a metal framed, wooden topped coffee table in the back room of the stone hut - a very handy addition to the furnishings.

So, everyone good for the Blue Duck / Anglers Rest gathering, 27 to 29 November? I'll be going up on Friday arvo.
As usual, travellers are most welcome to stop over at mine on the way.

That Triumph rider has a lot to look forward to. He'll have a grin for months and will wonder when the "riding season" stops.

Saturday up and Sunday back for me. I'm looking forward to it!

I need a good run or two. I went to Grants today, 160 miles return and I need a snooze. Must need more practice. Yep that'll do it.

Your room at the Geehi resort was very tidy, Charlie and Jane.

I can barely find a place to step when my camp's set up. Shit everywhere.

I practice sleeping almost every day but I can't tell that I'm getting any better at it.

I like that Triumph. About time they started showing their age. Did it mark its spot?
These new bonnies have been around longer than the originals it seems.

Looks like you have the good life Charlie!
I will be there for the run in November and may even take you up on your offer for some verandah accomodation. I have to get some leave! It will be good to catch up with everyone and see Grant's new machine.

Tomorra to Temorah with SteveC, welll actually its the day after Tomorra to Temorah, can you tell I like saying that?
I have cleaned out my carbs and checked the timing trying to find that mystery miss it's had for 2000 ks. Dunno, but it goes at least.

cheers

Mal, I think you like saying Mystery Miss almost as much as Temorah Tomorra.
In Melbourne one can have the pleasure, when on a Sunday drive to the Dandenongs, of saying, "We're heading Way Up Upwey Way". Dad jokes rule.

We should have a tech day on the mystery miss. We can have your bike stripped down in no time.

Verandah suite booked. Say G'day to Clippo.

Hi all, I've had a little trouble getting through, the computer said no, I have 7 pages of passwords, you reckon I could get one to work. Hey Bob I got it working.

Are we still going to the Blue Duck,I'm coming, probably on Fri, I’ll go down the Princes to Nowa Nowa & up from Bruthen, & across to Corryong on the way back. Will I meet anyone on the way (apart from the Vic constabulary)?

Cheers Mal (the other one)

Yep. But I'll be there Sat pm, probaly with Grant coming up thru Gippsland via Bruthen too.

Hopefully a campfire is ok. Maybe if everyone brings a lump of wood or two, we won't need Jeff to bring his chainsaw.
