Is float bowl level affected by which stand the bike sits on

Arent Bing CV carburetors popularly used on ultralight aircraft? Seems like that application would test the fuel flow. I'd be nervous there though, with my history in tuning, sticking floats etc. :-/

Not with the same floats. That's what the independent float conversion was designed for.
