I run these on my R100S:

Lets face it, these bikes only put out 70 hp and the tire technology has come a long way. I find them very neutral, and predictable. Look right too. You're not going to keep up with a garden variety 600cc sport bike with an equal rider anyway. At least not one made in this century.

No....Ye with a 990KTM
Well of course ye won't keep up with a 600 on a 990.

Those 600's can be a pain in the springtime, hard to tell the difference between them and grasshoppers splattered on my fairing. :mrgreen:

FWIW, Bike Bandit, and perhaps others, is showing a $50 rebate http://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tubes/m ... cycle-tireon a pair of street Metzelers. That might be enough for me try a set of the new Sportec Klassiks.
