See how dangerous having the "right tool for the job" is?
I'll stick with my hammer and duct tape.
What is it?

Re: What is it?
The tool mentioned on Duanes site looks like it only has one hole in a different location. Any thoughts on why that would be in terms of applicable models. Perhaps the tool I have is for /5's and won't fit an R100?
Any and all disclaimers may apply

I didn't read through the whole thread, or even the specific post, but he has the same tool as yours, and lots of pictures. Maybe he can answer some of your questions:Zombie Master wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2017 1:12 pm The tool mentioned on Duanes site looks like it only has one hole in a different location. edit: I notice later on in the thread, they are showing pictures of a 1-hole version, and how it does not work on some bearings, being too short. It is possible that you have a different version made to get around that?
Too bad Cycleworks does not have a picture of theirs on their website.

I bought my unit a couple of years ago, it has one hole drilled through so it comes out each side.

Re: What is it?
So you put the tool on each side of the wheel and give the zerk a few pumps?

Re: What is it?
From what I read on ADV, if it is your first time, the center of the hub will be empty, and you will have to fill that before the old grease will come out of the bearings, followed by new grease.
So expect several pumps.
