For when Boxerworks Forum goes out

Post by dwerbil »

Save the link below and log on to the Boxerworks Forum alternate Yahoo Groups site.....
(edit to add new url...)
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/altbwforum/info

There's about 60 of us with membership there which allows one to stay in touch when the message board goes batty. One can read the Yahoo Group posts on-line or elect to have postings emailed to their own email address.

Cheers!

I'd happily wait a few days or even a few weeks for this board to come back before using Yahoo Groups. In fact, I'd even consider migrating to a different airhead message board. Signing onto it requires accepting cookies, after which they place a huge amount of trackers (analytics, beacons and widgets) on your drive.

In my experience, no Yahoo Groups = no computer problems.

I will accept the possibility that Yahoo puts too many cookies on your computer, but not that simply avoiding Yahoo Groups will prevent a computer from developing any problems....

Personally, I've found that protecting my computer by refusing to use sites which require cookies or Java Scripts is living in caveman times: there was a time when it was possible, but now it restricts you to so few sites that it's barely worth having internet service.

The Yahoo groups changed their URLs a while back. Here's likely where it is now:
