Been looking at videos on changing the rear seal, One guy (the British one) says to soak the seal in oil before its put in, The other guy (Boxer 2 Valve) says its installed dry. Wondering which is correct and would it matter?

Re: Rear Main Seal Confusion
Snowbum says the "old" seal should be soaked in oil. Tom Cutter says the new PTFE seal should not be soaked in oil. Maybe that's the confusion you're seeing. Doubt you're dealing with the older seal. Tom does say to use a small amount of oil on the OD of the seal to help seat it.

Kurt,
Looks like I have the newer PTFE type from looking at the one I have and the one that Bover 2 valve shows, Will go with that one. Thanks for the info.

P.S.
Why don't we hook up for a cold one soon
