Bing Rebuild kit
I’m about to replace my 64/32/1 and 2 Bing carbs with a slightly newer pair 64/32/13 and 14 on a 72’ R75/5. I need to completely rebuild the carbs with new diaphragms, floats, gaskets, etc. My question is regarding the complete rebuild kit directly from Bing that’s $230. Is it that much more superior than other BMW part retailers which offer a similar kit for under $100.

Re: Bing Rebuild kit
You need to check what's included in the kits. The Bing kit may have parts you don't need. Jets for example don't normally need replacement except for the needle jet which does wear. Other than needle jets the only expensive bits are floats and diaphragms. Motobins do rebuild kits at reasonable prices.

I got mine from M'works. Dismantled, cleaned, inspected then ordered what I needed if I didn''t have italready.
