Thanks, Richard, but the Guzzi's not the model I'm lookin' for . . . and the K1's just too weird for me. Besides, I need alittle time to dig myself out of a bit of a financial hole, and accumulate some funds.

I do appreciate the offer!

Scot, good to hear you've found work. For me, so much of my self worth is connected to working that it would be hard to not have it. If you share that trait, work is important for multiple reasons.

I do have a strong work ethic, Chuey; and you're correct . . . working contributes to self worth and self esteem, not to mention a roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food in your mouth! :D

Thank you for the kind words.

Great to hear you are up and running.
Hope you get a bike soon.
It's always fun to harass talking to you.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Good news on the job front Scot...its always a relief...whew!

O boy...Speakeasy will be fun again..

Guzzi...O I lusted after one a few months ago but opted for my 76 R75/6 which I subsequently sold to a good friend of mine but boy that Guzzi oozed s-e-x to my eyes

It was a newer model but damn it was nice...its still available and since I sold both my GS and the R75 I'm looking again...damn Italian sex goddess she is....nothing like those lusty Italian jugs

I'm very fond of Guzzi's myself, but, when one must be concerned with parts availability for older models, it's an awfully hard transition to go from the absolute best company in the motorcycle world, to the absolute worst. Since Ducatis have become more reliable, and they came out with less sharp-edged weapons like the ST and the Multistrada, many Italophiles have moved from Geese to Ducs, just because it'[s so much easier to get parts . . . FROM DUCATI!

That is not comforting.

Isn't one of the oldest Guzzi dealers in North America in Thunder Bay Ontario?
