I posted before about looking for a new exhaust. I recently discovered Hoske mufflers and was wondering if any of you had used them.
While my stainless muffler still work fine, it would be nice to hear the tone of the boxer. I have heard a few go by with after market pipes, and it's been the nicest sound I've ever heard from a bike.
I'm not looking for loud at all, but I would like to hear more tone, before our internal combustion engines are legislated out of existence.
I've been riding airheads almost 50 years with stock exhausts. I've had an in service airhead since I was 18.
I wonder if re-jetting would be required.
Is there any improvement to throttle response or handling.
The You tube posts demonstrating the sound of these pipes are underwhelming.
Your thoughts on these mufflers would be appreciated.
