What's the tool on the top row one in from the right?

Have you found the short tire irons work well?
Any and all disclaimers may apply

Claude's probably asleep so I'll have a crack. It's a cylinder base sealant application correcting tool.
Or it's a cheese knife.

It's a rat tail file.
I use tubeless tires. A small puncture hole has to be adjusted to be able to insert a tire plug.
I find that a rat tail file works better than most tools made specifically for this purpose.

The short tire irons work OK to change a tire away from home.
(Only because I have Herculean strength, not recommended for wusses).

Wondering how to break the bead on a tubeless tire without a proper bead breaker?
Archimedes' principle and improvisational skills.

small one is for wiring, big one is for fences ;)
For extracting oneself and motorcycle from a wire fence?
Ya, right, ME109. Extracting, that's the ticket.

Have you ever done a burnout (while hung over) on the remnants of an old mattress that was harmlessly smouldering on the previous night's campfire, but suddenly all the posturepedic springs and guts wrapped around and jammed your back wheel just as your tire caught fire?
I've carried side-cutters ever since.
I see you useta go to Loudon BITD!
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

I grew up there. Actually raced bicycles on that track, when it was still called Bryar and before they destroyed it with that fuckin' NASCAR oval.

OMG the stories.

One of my most vivid morbid memories of the no helmet law "Live Free or Die" state of New Hampshire is seeing a helmetless girl fall off the back of a wheelie-ing Harley and crack her skull open on the pavement. I think she died in the ambulance.
Ironically, she was wearing a "Helmet Laws Suck" T-shirt.

Think of it as evolution in action... (with apologies to Larry Niven).
