Probably has 12mm plugs for the lowers. 18mm socket ?

If you take into consideration that there are several 'different' BMW head castings and that BMW never supplied 4 plug heads so they are all aftermarket modifications done by different 'mechanics' in different ways, it;s very difficult to compare like with like. The two heads shown are very obviously different castings and are pictured from different angles so it's virtually impossible to compare 'like for like'.

Got them out! I went bout a deep 13/16 socket at Home Depot and hit it with my flap disc to thin the wall out. Took about 10 minutes and I was easily able to get both plugs out and replaced.

the spark plug wrench that came with my K75 is thin walled used it once on a bottom plug in friends bike

Go to your local Automotive Tool supplier and get a spark plug deep bore socket that is made for the late model cars as in Toyota and Honda Cars, theses are long deep and thin walled, all the late model cars have the coil as as part of the plug cap and there is not a lot of room.

Good Luck just hope no one has put them in too tight.
