Yes, good spot for the clutch adjustment. TBH, I can't remember if I can adjust this up at the other end of it's just that the cable is stretched. As for the brake adjuster, this is just what came with the bike. Do you think I should change it?

I'm please with how the bike is coming on though.

I'm not sure what freed mine up, but I did ride it a bit and the various vibrations probably didn't hurt. I had only just given up on the thing working and ordered the $100 (IIRC) part when suddenly FLASH FLASH FLASH. :evil:

I did replace it when the part came in, as it was in a headlight shell behind a big Luftmeister fairing and I didn't want to have to dig it out.

BUT I saved it and when my recently reanimated RS had a non-functioning flasher relay I installed the saved relay, where it works just fine. I may diddle with the OG flasher from the RS to see if it's also just some vibes away from functioning.

Kurt's link is The Way of the Clutch Cable. Basically the lever adjuster is used to get the lower release mechanism working in the right range for best leverage for your hands. Then the adjustment at the trans is to set the freeplay up top. As these things wear, the freeplay goes away. If the freeplay goes away totally, the clutch will start to slip. If you do a lot of mileage, you'll probably make adjustments more often at the transmission than at the hand lever.
