Check the timming?
That's probably it, I will check the timing and do a plug check in the morning.---Thanks :D
Checked this morning on other computer. Dual core processors running at 65-70% at idle on Boxerworks.
On all other websites 0-3%. Something on this site is going on at idle. Laptop is at 95-100% at idle and 10-20%
only on Boxerworks.

Yep something is useing lotsa juice. I haven't seen any flake yet (other than the usual suspects  ) but my task manager shows 35 to 45% cpu usage with Boxerworks on and 1% with it off, and that is with 4 other windows open and my business OS on, and it is a bandwidth pig.

I unchecked "enable javascript" in firefox preferences and cpu use is now normal. WTF!
The catch to that is no videos work.

I am experiencing a 50% increase in CPU usage with Boxerworks forum online, than without. :!:

My computer at home (Vista 64 and Firefox) shows the flakes on only one or two pages.

On this computer (Windows 7 and Firefox), it has made a scroll bar start flash on and off at the bottom of the screen, pulsing like an intermittent strobe. This is in spite of the fact that the Boxerworks window isn't nearly covering the entire width of the screen. The flakes are not visible, but I think the bar is flashing in the rhythm that the flakes would be crossing the side of the screen - like the computer is confused about whether or not the image is actually wider than what is showing on the screen.

Turning off Javascript does make it stop, but also kills many features that I want, such as the Smilies.

The whole thing is quite irritating and I hate it.

Did I miss something? I have snow-flakes outside, but none here in FF, but I do use a condom in the form of NO-Script, Safer-Privacy for LSO's and flash cookies, and well enough crap that I should never see any flakes here on the Boxerwoks forum but myself... :-)

You can't see any other members of the forum?

Yeah, NO-script must be killing them, as turning off JavaScript does it.
