I Need A Side Cover

Post by ExchiefKeith »

I need a side battery cover for a 1995 r100rt. Apparently BMW is not making them anymore, so does anyone know if someone 3D printing these? I am in southeast Pennsylvania USA if anyone should happen to have one.

Do a search on the Flea Bay for "bmw r100rt battery cover" and you should find a bunch of repro or NOS as well as decals for them at varying prices.

Hope this helps,

What side? Does the monolever right sidecover like to take a leap during a ride like the twin shocks do?

No, each side cover has a screw at the bottom to keep them secure.
