Sad news....long time forum poster Ken Clevenger passed away

Post by dwerbil »

Sad to report that Ken Clevenger passed this morning. He had been living in Boise, Idaho the past few years, then in memory care the past two years. Ken hosted our little Boxerworks Forum Rally twice a year for near ten years between May '04 until May of 2013 at his country home that was nestled in the Ouachita National Forest in south east Oklahoma near Big Cedar.
Ken was a great contributor here at this forum for many years from at least from the late 1990s until 2020.
Thanks for the memories, Ken as you ride off into the sunset.

I am very sad to hear this news. This place just isn't the same without him around (and many others who we don't hear from anymore).

I was lucky I went to the last Boxerworks rally that was ever held at Ken's in May 2013.

As ZM says, the parade only goes in one direction. But why does it have to be a such a brief one? Life really is short, and the older you get, the faster it goes.

RIP Ken.

Ken was great!
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

I'm really sad about this and will never stop missing Ken. He was one heluva lovable person and a true friend. The good times and wonderful people I met because of his generous spirit will be with me always.

After a long spell away from the forum I checked back in at last only to find this thread about one of my favorites. I attended one of Ken's rallys near Big Cedar in 2007. What a fine gentleman he was. I add my sorrow to yours. 😥
