Yep, 4 weeks. I've got a bit of housework to do.

Not much sweetness coming out of that fiddle these days. My bow shat itself. I've been hassling the local violin repairer to get on with fixing it, but apparently he is up to his armpits in some BMW motorcycle repairs. How's your fiddle going? I have meant to ask each time we meet, but other things seem to get in the way.

Charlie, the fiddle takes pride of place sitting up in the kitchen on the mantle also but it does need repairing as its in the same condition as when we last spoke about it....One of these days it will get fixed I'm sure but I kinda like it looking a bit "rustic & worse for wear"......

I like to keep myself looking 'a bit rustic and worse for wear'. Wouldn't want to be constantly assailed by attractive young wimmen now, eh? The fiddle will be best served by having it strung up to concert pitch (and played). I'll get down your way some time and have a look.
I'd refer you to the bloke that works on mine but he is very, very unreliable, especially since he became obsessed with BMW motorbikes. Keeps saying "It'll be ready Tuesday" for months, even years, sometimes. Slack bastard.

I think the Restaurant & Country club could very well both be upgraded to a "High Priority".... but that does all depend on the amount of burbon comsumed / abiltity to focus onto my fry pan verses the walking distances to the club!!..

If there isn't a pub then the supermarket will have a liquor shop. It would be very unaustralian to be otherwise.

I spoke with Charlie the other day and he wisely suggested some frozen homemade curry to drop into a cooker. I liked that idea. What's your favourite curry Grant? If I put my mind it to it I can do a mean curry!

The supermarket doesn't answer their phone after 6pm so I'll call 'em tomorrow and find out when they're open and if they have a bottle shop.

Me no curry man Steve!!, sorry but especially not when camping, no dunny and all wrapped up in a sleeping bag inside a small tent. One small fart and I'd shit the bed and to many zips to make a quick escape....
