'73 R75/5 Regulator change

Post by Tom H Ca »

Been a bit since I've been here. Thanks again for all the prior help as it looks like many from back then are still around!!

The question is: Is the BWD R588 regulator a suitable replacement and work correctly in the '73 R75/5?

The BWD conversion of the stock BMW part number calls for this number on the BWD website.

This is a solid state looking unit rather than the mechanical stock style. There is a picture on the Ecatalog, but it doesn't look like I can make a link to the page with the R588. here is the main page http://www.bwdautomotive.com

Thanks again for the help!!

Thanks for the reply and the link to confirm that this one will work!! You just never know what car parts will fit the older bikes.

Thanks again,
Tom

I'll scrounge some up and post them in a new topic in a day or two.
