That's a good feeling that lasts and lasts!!!Unclviny wrote:I took it to my favorite English Pub for St. Patricks day.
Parked it in a line of Hardleys and folks ignored the "Butt-Jewelry" to gawk at the /5, kept me laughing all night!Vince
Definitely not "bore." As for "boar," I could have, but I'm not sure. I've heard both. "Useless as tits on a boar" has never made any sense to me, as wild boar have tits to suckle their young just like any other mammal, and they are a tasty wild game. Whereas, "tits on a board" are totally useless. So, I've always preferred "board," right or wrong.Duane Ausherman wrote:
Major, could you have meant "tits on a bore" or "tits on a boar?"
"If I'm wrong, I don't want to be right."Major Softie wrote: I Googled both and got 33,900 hits for "boar," and 20,500,000 for "board." Doesn't mean I'm right, but, if I'm wrong, I've got a lot of company.
Interesting, I did a search on "useless as tits on a" and all the top results were for boar or bull. Remember a boar is a male pig, sow for female. Makes sense.Major Softie wrote:Definitely not "bore." As for "boar," I could have, but I'm not sure. I've heard both.
