Are Airheads the last restored BMW bikes there will be?

30 years ago I thought the Honda 6 cylinder CBX was way too complicated to be around for anytime at all. The big bikes still seem be serviceable.
New machining techniques have made new parts available for Pratt and Whitney radial aircraft engines.
Someone is always figuring out a way around some out-dated technology.
