Bob, it will be my pleasure to send it to you (in a few hours when I'm back at home).
It occurs to me that it would be useful to have a 'resources' area on Boxerworks for this sort of thing - a place where a person can easily find things like wiring diagrams, scans of diagnostic procedures from manuals and the like. I suppose it would take some work to set up something like this, and I ain't volunteering - just sayin'.

Re: Early R90/6 wiring diagram
Thanks Charlie, and promise not to lose them ever again as I will print these on 24x36 stock at the local printery, laminate them and post it on the man cave wall next to that wonderful photo of you and your sailboat!
Yeah it would be a good idea but would be lot of work.
Over on the ADVRider website in the "OLd's cool" section aka Airhead and older bikes they have "Tips and Tricks" section as well as "Dark secrets revealed": section where guys just post some great tips etc as well as parts interchange info (Mainly electrical stuff from euro cars substitute for BMW over priced part) Nice thing about it is you can search just the thread for information..
Once I get my new to me 74 90/6 looking ok I'll post a pic. I think its in pretty good shape mechanically. Only 29,000 miles on it. Rear drive splines look brand new! But had been left neglected for long time...turned over OK (with the kick start) , fluids all looked new. Had lot accummulated debris and dust from sitting around. Fortunately fellow kept it in his workshop so not weather beaten just covered in layers of fine saw dust as PO was a cabinet maker although retired now. Said he stopped riding it in 1997...we'll see how the seals hold up.
It was cheap...I couldn't resist...O the damn disease is back...with a vengence.

Ah, thanks Bob for the reminder about the ADVrider thing. I have blundered into it in my travels. I'll have another look and might even contribute.
Your R90 sounds like a real find. Well done, mate. I'm sure you'll manage to find a way to cope with the 'disease'. It'd be awful if it cleared up now, wouldn't it?
PS: I assume this thread has reached the point where a little diversion is acceptable.

Ah yes. A disease. I've had it for quite a few years now. But there's nothing like the discovery, the thrill of the chase, and the ultimate

Re: Early R90/6 wiring diagram
Airbear, I am just getting my '74 R90/6 going and could really use a good, clear diagram as the one in the Haynes manual is almost indecipherable.
Ah, the wind in my hair (what hair?) and bugs in my teeth (what teeth?) Life is good!
