I remember an episode of "American Chopper" where a bike was built for Billy Joel.
He took control of the product away from Sr. & Jr. –
and the result was one of very few bikes that OCC has ever made that I appreciated.
Seeing Billy Joel's collection – it's no wonder ...
but then, maybe it's also no wonder that the OCC bike isn't included in the collection, eh ?

I've never ridden a Moto Guzzi Sport 1100, which you describe as bad, but I have ridden an XLCR, and I wholeheartedly agree with Billy Joel's assessment!

"The one bike Mr.Joel doesn't ride; his 1977 Harley XLCR café racer...because it is 'fucking horrible'. He keeps it as a memento of a horrific crash in his youth on exactly such a beast..."

Definitely a bike made to be hung on a wall if there ever was one.

Yep, and the Harley XLCR cafe racer is also a "fucking collectible". I have a friend in New jersey with one in his basement for the last 30 years. He thinks he's going to retire on it's sale price... (insert eye roll here)
