It has been brought up in another area here that it might be nice to prevent anybody from registering the username 'Airhead,' in honour of the last user of that name, who was beloved by us all and passed away two years ago. Is such action even technically possible?

If I wasn't in a rush out the door now, I'd sent a head's up about this to Web Mistress about doing this. The newbie poster with the name can be sent a message about re-registering. Rob, you around to do this?
Yeah, this retiring Airhead is a great idea, and honor.

Re: Retire a user name?
I would, but I am really uncomfortable asking people for things, and telling them what they can and can't do.
