funholiday

Post by chasbmw »

This was posted on ADV, Fun had been posting there under the moniker Supershaft.

Hey everyone..I am a close friend of "Supershaft" (AKA Billy).
I am sorry to say he was involved in a moto get off last night, and is in the Hospital with multiple broken bones. He should recover, but is in a lot of discomfort.
Please send good vibes his way. Thanks!

That is unfortunate news and I hope he recovers quickly.
No doubt more news will come via the grapevine.

Dang! He'd just finished a rebuild/further mod of his bike. Get well, FH.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Not his first bad accident. He suffered brain injuries some years ago. Hope his noggin suffered no further damage.

Just because I am a nice guy I'm not going to laugh out loud at that, MS.

It was meant in all seriousness, without cruel humor, but, yes, I did see how it read.

I didn't hear all the details of it; but yes, accordingly, FH had a earlier bad wreck, with head injuries, whatever that means.
Bad deal...hope he pulls through alright.

Fun, seems it's not your time yet. I hope you tune in when you can, take it easy and get well soon.

Not good at all. I just chatted with him the day before last regarding rejetting Dells to match my performance mods.
I've been getting very nice results. He's right about leaning out the mains, I went from 155's to 140's. Not ready to go without the pumps like he does, mostly because I can't afford the richer slides and needle jets at this point.

I hope the bills aren't too extensive. I've had friends survive the accident only to be "killed" by the hospital costs and moving violation fines.

He's a little more popular on that site. http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720846
