Youtube rookie, ride down Chuckanut Drive
Inspired by Tim's Youtube productions http://boxerworks.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3034 I decided, at the last second, to strap a camera on my bike. I found I could bend the mini tripod around one of the Dellortos. . Makes for an interesting view. This is my modified R90/6. Sorry about the poor quality and the sparkplug interferance on the soundtrack. Just turn the sound down. This is my first ever Youtube, so don't be too hard on me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o34LGUPo ... ideo_title

Yes, she's running great! Here's some Harleys doing the same stretch (NOT filmed by me). I'm much encouraged.

At 1:29 into the video you can see the skid marks from where you had been doing stoppies.

Re: Youtube rookie, ride down Chuckanut Drive
There are some real "dead man's" curves on that road. Especially the Hairpin that I flubbed by not shifting down enough for. There are some nasty skid marks that could only have ended badly. Very few shoulders, cliff drops, drunken Harley riders, deer, bicyclists and giant boulders that regularly take out the road (and sometimes drivers).Ross wrote:At 1:29 into the video you can see the skid marks from where you had been doing stoppies.

Good fun hey Matt!
Your sound isn't too bad at all. Ya wanna hear bad audio? I can do that.
What camera do you have?

Re: Youtube rookie, ride down Chuckanut Drive
Thanks for calling my YouTube efforts "productions", but I have a lot to learn. Just the little stuff... like editing, stringing two different videos together and a soundtrack... not as intuitive as the Windows Movie Maker would have me believe.
Re: Youtube rookie, ride down Chuckanut Drive
We have iMovie on the Mac. My 9 year old son is an expert at editing on it. He hasn't figured out how to get it from iMovie out to Youtube yet. I prefer to be ignorant.Tim Shepherd wrote:Thanks for calling my YouTube efforts "productions", but I have a lot to learn.
