Who is this.
Really?"
Well, I might ask the same question: Who is Oldcolt72. Really?
I'm BACK....
Re: I'm BACK....
Oldcolt72 asked who is this?
Major Softie is one of the coolest guys from the forum and one of the reasons I stayed after coming here originally to get some hints on how to work on my bike. I saw in him someone I could learn from. Of course, there are several others whose opinions shed light on much of what I find interesting in life.
To paraphrase some popular ads: I came for the mechanical advice. I stayed to learn about a variety of things.
Major Softie's real name is Kurt Munger and he works for a University in some capacity within the theater department. He seems to have the most varied knowledge base of anybody here. That prompted a thought in my head several years ago. I proposed that we have a contest to see if we could find a subject that he didn't know about. It was a dud. Nobody seemed interested in trying that. I've met him. He's very personable, very outgoing. A couple years ago, he had a pretty bad crash on his Ducati and kind of disappeared after that.

Re: I'm BACK....
I'll have to email Scot and see how he's doing. I didn't know about the "near death experience."
