Saddle bags

Hi all
Glad to see we're up and running again. Kudos to Matt. Just purchased Krauser style bags for my LWB R75/5 and I have a question about how close the bags sit to the mufflers. On the right side I've got about 1in. to 1 and1/4 in. clearance at the tightest point at the back of the bag toward the tip of the muffler. In front of this I have 2 to 3 inch clearance. Do I need to worry about the bag melting or is this adequate?
