I am so sorry to see these woes about Epco. I had completely forgotten about my page on mufflers. I am surprised that I haven't been sued yet.
On Luftmeister. The owner, Matt Capri, is still around at my last look. He has been trying to get a BMW franchise forever, but they will have nothing to do with him............ for good reason.
I can tell stories of Matt, so pin me down at a tech session or such.
Some people's reputations are rife with similar stories. Why do they have to cheat? We made a decent living with BMW and I still enjoy many of the friends that I made up all those 99 years ago. You outta see some of those old guys now.
If your word isn't good, you have nothing.

Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Re: EPCO Stainless Steel Mufflers Stole my MONEY!
Last year when I added to this post I had not yet ordered any EPCO products. You may recall that I mentioned that Stainless Rides was now the vendor\manufacturer for EPCO mufflers.
In late summer I ordered a set of the EPCO Sport Mufflers from Stainless Rides. They arrived about a month later. (They were not in stock. A set was manufactured to fill my order) They are beautiful. Each muffler came in it's own velvet bag. No kidding, an elongated version of a Crown Royal bag. They were polished to a mirror finish. Not a scratch, ding or dent. We're still working on the bike so they haven't been installed.
Stainless Rides told me they do not make the EPCO heareds. For those I need to contact EPCO.
Based on the comments from forum members and what I was told by Stainless Rides I think it is appropriate to split the discussion on EPCO into Headers and Mufflers.
As for the mufflers I'll vouch for Stainless Rides as a good vendor selling a quality product.
The rest of the comments about the headers seem to cover that vendor.
