BMW MOA Rally in Sedalia, MO

Post by bbelk »

July 19 - 22, 2012

I am going! This should be fun. I am not a member of the organization and don't get thier news letter. The park does not take RV reservations and I am told I need one.

The e-mail I got back from the Rally Chair said that RV registration info will appear in the February issue of the BMW Owners News.

Can I get one of you dedicate MOA members to shoot me a copy of the necessary informaton? I don't know when the February issue comes out.

Thanks
Brad

Repost this in February or send a reminder, and I'll make a copy for you. However, my MOA mag usually comes mid month. Someone might get their's a bit earlier.

I plan to, but I guess I got excited and wanted to generate some discussion of the rally too.

Brad,
The February issue has been placed online and I went through it cover to cover. However, there is no registration form in the magazine. The RV Rally Chairman is Steeve Sternberg. I've included his email below.

I got this e-mail from Chuck:

The RV article is on page 138 of the Feb issue along with the RV Committee Chair's contact info.

much to thnk about...Anyone considering riding from the west? What would be your ideal route?

From my place, I imagine a great straighter shot ride along 50 through Nevada, Utah and Colorado. Denver to Sedalia is 680 miles of boredom comparatively. four days on the road... weather wise... Tent camping might be out of the question once in the show me state.
I always brake in corners and think how I am going to get home if I really mess up. When I get home, I wished that I hadn't used my brakes and should have ridden a bit further.
