Spanner size for Spark plugs

Post by boxertwinjeff »

I'm having a friend turn over my R75/5 Engine while I'm away. What size Spanner
in Millimetres will he need to remove the Spark plugs?, taking he won't have the correct size
proper plug spanner. Cheers.

21mm. The heads get in the way so he'll need a tube spanner.

I'll be happy to turn your bike over and I have the proper socket. When do you want me to pick it up?

Is there really a "tube spanner?" There are words there but the description I get from the term spanner is a wrench.
Any and all disclaimers may apply

Duane has the term "tubular box spanner" 22 and 24mm with Tommy bar on his website:

This is the spark plug wrench on our side of the pond.

Tube socket would be more appropriate I think.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Or, all sockets are tube spanners. Tube socket seems redundantant

Tube spanner isn't yet a "redundantant" description. ;)
