First he tried it at $20K.

Now it's $1650

Lets start a contest to see who can pick the sale price!

My thought was if that guy wants to realize the high dollars from the bike, he should show us better pictures of it. Also, it seems kind of weird to buy a raffle ticket for something you don't want.

Would a bike like that suck for street use? If not I would probably keep it and ride it.

Hard to be certain, but it has no lights, a track only exhaust tuned for racing, compression designed for race gas, and whatever cams they put in it, they had to modify the cases just to get them in.

That doesn't sound very street worthy.

That's not surprising to me. Most of these raffles are fundraisers, and lots of people buy tickets simply to support whatever organization the fundraiser is going to help. In fact, I've seen people win the raffle, and then donate the prize back to the organization that did the raffle.

So with the engine modifications, how much more juice does this have over a stock R75? Would an R100 be about the same? Of course you don't have a pocket dynamometer, so an opinion is fine.

No lights, no signals, no starter, hi-comp racing engine with a 336 cam, short rods, shortened jugs and special pistons connected to an R90 crank...

Nope! You probably wouldn't want to ride that bike on the street.

Race bike? Not even a decent street bike.

The fork sliders are wrong way around with the axle offset to the rear making excessive trail. It will handle
like a chopper.

Powder coating the heads, cylinders, and crankcase is like putting an insulating blanket on it to retain heat.

Race bikes don't need or want an alternator especially a permanent magnet one to use up power.

What is up with the big plate welded between the main and subframe? The sub frame is still bolted!

Who the hell would powder coat the hubs and rims on a race bike?

It would be easier to make a race bike from the pile of stuff that they started with than the final result.

Just my opinion for what its worth.
