Fuel tank thoughts.

What if fuel tank was under the seat where the battery lives? Not too low that gravity still can't feed fuel to the carbs.

Then I would have all that ugly electric stuff on the frame top tube that I could shroud over with sheet alloy. Kinda like a squashed diamond shape. Or squashed stretched coffin tank shape. Very thin. Maybe have this shroud flow into the tank under the seat. Off this shroud towards the front of the bike would come the headlamp. I hope the scibble below will give you an idea of what I am proposing?



The headlamp off to one side is inspired by Shinya Kimura's 74 Ducati 'flash'



I want this kinda look but coming from the 'dummy' tank with the headlamp to one side.

She is being built for cruising not speed. So shapes are not a factor that really comes into play here.

It was some of the customer/chopper oil tanks that got me thinking about an under seat tank. Plus BMW do this with their 650 singles.

Use a BSA or Triumph big single tank the 441 or 500

its Aluminum hold about 2.2 gallon easy 1 bolt rubber mounted and great filler cap

use your Solo idea and go with a 2 light headlight 1 big the other small sorta like this Oo

I did the unthinkable with my Exhaust I use a Harley Mufflers

in this my bike does not sound like a triumph like it did with the Cosworth system

and not harley but something BIG and untamed
