Four valve head, dual exhaust ports, dual carbs, disc brakes front and rear, the Hy Vo cam chain lowers maintenance a great deal. Still that BSA aluminum peanut tank is really something....that will leak!

I would like that. I had an SR500 that I enjoyed. The SRX600 had an awful lot of plastic. I'm running three bikes at the moment. I couldn't bear to be owned by another.
ZM rules:
1. All bikes owned must be capable of immediate long distance running, or be in the active process of being prepared for long distance running.

As you say, the 441 fails as a motorcycle, but, to be fair, the Kawi fails as art. Few manage to exceed at both.
Kawi? Are you being obtuse?
Couldn't tell from the pic. Swear to god, I thought I remembered that you had a KLR. I'm afraid I must plead: obtuse.

2. When I ride a motorcycle I am invisible.
There is no flexibility on these rules.
I have always felt that rule 2 MUST have some flexibility. I have always held to this version of the rule:
When I ride a motorcycle I am invisible to most, but those few who are able to see me, are trying to kill me.

A decent addendum.
Rule 3. If you are not there, they can't hurt you.
