I am working on creating a series of events that I want to do with good folks who share mutual interests. I really have found many who ride airhead bikes quite complementary to that goal. I like open, independent and interesting people who understand the need for reasonable flexibility, simple good quality and know best times happen on beautiful roads, adventure and good life experiences.
this bike ride is just one event in a year or life of engaging the exceptional. Hopefully you will join me on other trips and adventures. Like the airhead cannon says, money is only a tool. Life is fragile and fleeting. I can get by on cheap tools, a quality ride of my own choosing, good friends and loving family - it is my current answer to my own world.
Inspiration to ride from Airmail airhead monthy
Re: Inspiration to ride from Airmail airhead monthy
I always brake in corners and think how I am going to get home if I really mess up. When I get home, I wished that I hadn't used my brakes and should have ridden a bit further.

"An airhead motorcycle invitation" - hmm, does this mean if one doesn't have an airhead, they need not apply? Not than I can go anyway, and I'm not in the SF area either.Ridercam wrote:Care to join me...

Sounds like a fun ride though, as long as one has an airhead! I used to have airheads...

The BBQ is a pseudo airhead event. I'd be happy riding with good folks. A bike Is a bike be it airhead or Honda passport.
You can join us for the Kelispell MT BBQ, the Yellowstone/Jackson portion and craters of the moon monument. It would be a nice 4 day ride for you.

I was just kidding around, I didn't really think you meant only people on airheads were invited.
I've been to Craters of the Moon, that is a very cool place.
Kalispell, eh? In late September. Hmm. Time to go look at the map.

Ed: I am indeed ready for 12/21/12 and any possible Zombie or other Apocalypse that might occur. Here is the apocalyptic helmet I will be wearing for the occasion:enigmaT120 wrote:No need, Steve. I don't know though if I should wear it if / when I go to Kalispell, it might give the wrong impression to any potential new riding buddies.
Edit: changed the image to a link, sorry to post that hideous thing in your thread, Ted.

Whenever I think about the name Kalispell I think about the Hindu goddess of destruction, or death, or something like that. That helmet is perfect, but I think it's more suited for a woman.

Everyone who expressed interest to ride have cancelled. go to the sun road in Glacier closed for repairs.
Yet I am in. Talked to John this mornig. Looking forward to the epic ride. Averaging 350 miles a day. Camping some. It should be epic. This is the beginning of a new chapter of riding for me - Solo adventures that include meeting new friends and embracing old ones.
