Real racing

Post by ME 109 »

A little bit of the Isle of Man, 2012.
It just makes a GP circuit look so......
But that's just me.

Terrifying !

I watched a pile of TT clips the other day , a good practice circuit by a bloke on a very quick Matchless G50, running at 7000 and 130mph . Slow compared to today but still bloody quick.

I got out DVD of the 2010 TT and damn near scared myself to death ! All those stone walls .SHUDDER!

and it's a Tourist Trophy, they should carry saddle bags and tents . ;)

Can you grow them that big? Or do you have to be born with them that big? :?

A fella I know did it one year on a 600.
Said he wasn't nervous until they announced "Fog on the mountain."
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

If you ever get the chance to watch the vid of Joey Dunlop self commentating doin' a lap at the TT, watch and listen closely.

At one stage Joey says something like this..."yer know yer leanin' o'er too far when yer 'ead starts ta scraaap along the woll"!...as the bike hits some ridiculous speed whilst passing some buildings. First time you hear it it's a rewind and relisten "what did he just say?"
