Thanks mate. I've just looked through your Bobbin' Blog.
You are having tons of fun, aren't you? Your anarchist side is definitely presenting itself.
Keep up the good work.

Lack of money and time has slowed the bobbin down. The passion to do this is still there.Airbear wrote:Thanks mate. I've just looked through your Bobbin' Blog.

I am trying to get hold of an old pony saddle. For free if I can. Want to use that as the seat for the Bobber.

Now why didn't I think of that. Not just raise and tilt, but revolving.ME 109 wrote:Been done before man.Ross wrote: I am trying to get hold of an old pony saddle. For free if I can. Want to use that as the seat for the Bobber.

And that little spittoon would be the duck's nuts.

Ah, Nitrous Oxide. I love that stuff. Sniffed a lot of it the day my son was born.ME 109 wrote:

Got through the 8 hour labour with no fuss at all.
Dunno why women go on and on about the difficulties of childbirth.

Re: Brunhilde refurb update
G'day mate... long time no see.
She's looking lovely. I'm heading home from an extended ride soon and probably should do something with my R90S... but there's a 1930's 16C Norton and hopefully a B33 Beeza following me (if I can sneak it out of Myanmar)
I've watched a few seats being remodelled over here (Thailand at present) - and its cheap as chips here. I paid $30 to get one of my KTM seats re-done (I've got a Super Enduro and a modified 525 up here). That included extra foam, reshaping and a new cover - in their best material..... and I paid foreigner prices.... a local would have got it for under $10.
Cheers
Ian

G'day Ian
Good to see you are still kicking, and collecting.
I'm wondering where you will store all these bikes at your place. Under some overturned boats, perhaps?

Re: Brunhilde brakes
I am considering a handlebar mc for the brakes like you did. I have the info saved under favorites. Anyway I was wondering how the brakes are working out now that you have lived with them for a while. Also seems like I remember one of the pictures of the starter didn't appear to be a bosch so was interested in that also.
I am not much of a cafe or bobber type of guy but your bike looks great!!!
