Not-my-ride photo

Post by Mal S7 »

I just love this evocative BMW photo, makes me want to ride! It's from the NSW BMW Touring Club's website. Feel like I know this road ..... and that could be my bike ... but for the wider bars, gold pinstripes .... and .. hey, that's not even a NSW number plate!

Image

It's actually a panorama, but I can't get it to display properly. Check it out :- http://www.bmwtcnsw.org

There happens to be a nice looking R80GS for sale in their classifieds too. No connection ,.. but I want it!

cheers

Gidday Mal,
Lovely photo, looks to be any number of places between you and me.

No rego stickers from jan 2013! great.

I gave up using them in August 2012.

Road surface too good for NSW? Probably Victoria, they never seem to wear theirs out.

Ouch! That's a sore point. I must be the LAST person in NSW to get done, just before Xmas, $100 from an officious prick for displaying an out-of-date label on my car. Never in over 30 years of driving/riding has any cop ever taken a look!! grrr

Time for more wine and zen.

Nice pic. You can just right-click on the image and select 'Open Image' to see it all.
Bummer about the fine, Mal. You'd better get some good speeding in on some nice unpopulated and uncopulated back road to make up for that. Maybe get pissed and stoned first to really get yer money's worth.

Reminds me I haven't changed the sticker on Brun. We've been together for 10 years now. Must have a little celebration, with lots of precious fluids.

Nice. it looks like the Willamette Valley here in Oregon but those poplar trees by the side of the road or more common in Eastern Oregon.
