God is angry with sinners all day and those who do not come to saving faith in Christ Jesus will stand before Him on Judgment Day and be held accountable for every word, thought, and deed that does not conform to His holy standards. None of can meet that standard and no mortal ever has. Only the God-Man, Jesus, was able and did so. He, then, is qualified to stand in for sinners who come to Him in faith that He is the Christ - the son of the living God and savior of sinners. No other refuge will suffice.
